Printing
Printed locally on cotton tees.
Direct to garment. Ink is printed straight into the fabric of a 100% cotton, unisex crew neck tee. Full color with no color limit, so gradients and photos print fine. The ink soaks into the cotton rather than sitting on top, so the print stays soft and breathes.
On white. White in the artwork isn't printed; the shirt shows through, as in the preview.
On black. A white base layer goes down first so colors stay bright, which makes the print a little heavier than on white. Black in the artwork can be left unprinted so the shirt shows through. A faint pretreatment mark can show around the print at first; it washes out.
Color. A display shows color as light and a shirt shows it as ink, so the print lands close, not exact. Neon, metallic and exact Pantone matches aren't possible with this method.
